Working on Baladın, a documentary for Red Bull TV following Turkish national volleyball player Hande Baladın, gave me the chance to be closely involved in the project from its earliest stages all the way through to the final film.

As Production Coordinator, I worked closely with the director and maintained direct communication with our clients at Red Bull throughout pre-production, production and post-production. My role meant being across the many moving parts of the project, from coordinating the shoot and keeping communication flowing between teams to travelling with the crew to Red Bull’s headquarters in Austria for filming.

I also stayed closely involved once we moved into post-production, contributing to the editing process and helping shape the film as it came together. Being part of the project from beginning to end was especially rewarding, and it reinforced how much I enjoy roles that allow me to bridge the creative and organisational sides of filmmaking.
